hi gk76a 1992 struggles likes it being strangled at about 5 to 6 thousand clears eventually but pops and backfire could it be my float heights many thanks paul

could be....definately sounds as if its running rich at 5-6 thou rpm...
is there any reak coming from the exhaust at this point?what about the plugs,check what condition they are in?
