Hello all,

When I was refitting my carbs I slightly damaged the throttle cables ( slight kink ). Its bugging me and I want them replaced. Can this be done without removing the carbs? Is it handy enough? Any youtube guides?

Thanks all, I really need my bike for commuting ASAP as the weather is finally turning milder. Im in Ireland and the frosty nights are just about finished ( I hope )

I don't know the specifics of your bike.

One thing I can tell you is that a pair of surgical forceps are invaluable for jobs such as this.

But that's how I ruined the original cables to begin with. I used pliers to pull the cables into the slots which put a kink in them.

The easiest way is to disconnect the carbs from the cylinder head and ease them out of the right hand side of the bike to gain access to the pulley.
It looks more complicated than it actually is.
Do a search on carb removal.
