Chaps
I have on my 29 a CBR600 shock fitted as per the norm on here. I have not changed anything else.
Although compared to the 23 I have in the garage and also a friends GK76 Suzuki she seems to sit very low.
Could it be that a previous owner could have lowered it at the rear?

Ive got two nc29s and the one with the 600 shock sits higher than the standard one.
Has the linkage been turned round ??

I, of short in the leg, can tell you that the 23 is higher than the 29 as standard. With me its balls of the feet on the 29, with the 23 it was toe scrap. With a 600 shock on the 29 that's working correctly, I assume it would be around the same as the 23.

No this is defiantly lower than the 23.... But I know the 23 has had forks works in by mr France but that wouldn't make that much difference

Well I suppose it could be just normal height with the 600 shock depending on model and set up., what length is the shock?. Although from what I have read it should be a tad higher. Are your forks the standard height or could they have been lowered as well? I expect the 18" triarm wheel would add height as well.
My M Shock was built with the same length as the OEM shock, although some think a tad longer would have been better I think its fine.

I must admit that when /i fitted the 600 shock i didnt cut the linkage to enable the adjuster to be used.. its only a few mm but would that make a difference?
maybe ill get out there with the dremmel at some point
