Hello I have a NC23 and im going to put new oil and a oil filter in it today. When checking the oil level i presume the bike must be vertical, should it? or should i check the oil level on its side stand? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Simon.

Always check the oil with the bike on the level mate

so have it vertical on paddock stands or something?

Yup or in the event if no paddock stand use a couple of axle stands under the footrests
