I agree i could do most things but there a number of issue the wife, 3 children and dog!!!!!!

Any spare time i can find i want to be riding!

The bikes will need a new chain sproket, brakes pads brake service, in the next 1000miles.

And i suppose the valve clearance should be checked as by all the paperwork from prevouis owners is has not been carried out. bikes is on 33000km.

And i would just like some who really knows what there doing to give the bike a once over.

I'd say 99% of motocycle shops won't have a problem doing the brakes and chain sprockets.

Ideally you want somone who's worked on an NC30 to do the clearances, not that it's difficult for a competent mechanic, it's just fiddley and somone who's familiar with them will take a lot less time (and money) than a novice :)

agreed

those jobs are the sort of jobs bike mechanics love to see coming there way. i've done them loads of bikes, FZR400, CBR900,
VFR400 and ZX6.
a service generally means air/oil filter, oil and coolant. they are all easy too.
if you do decide to give them a go and need a spare pair of hands/competent NC30 enthusiast, just ask
