Hey everyone,

New to this side of the garage in 400 terms! Good to be here!

A friend of mine has just picked up a 76A for a track bike, was not running because of various idiots working on the bike, now it runs well but we have the rattle that I assume is the cam chain tensioner, is there a manual one that fits the bike for sure? Or does the guy that was selling the manual ones still sell and post to NZ?

Also not sure what year the bike is but it has right way up forks, how do you tell if they are the low power or full 59hp bikes?

Thanks in advance!

Neil

hi Neil and welcome to the dark side.
The 76 only came with USD forks so if it is definitely a 76 with the cradle type frame then the front end is not stock.
If you can post up the part number off the cdi I can tell you of its 53hp.

APE do a manual tensioner and srad600 fits the 400, any big bore turbo shop will sell them.

I can also help you with the speed restriction if you want.
