Gd Day,
Just seeing if anyone has any experiences/advice on converting the above.
My spare engine (NC30) alternator/windings wrecked the flywheel a while ago.
The bikes ok but hasn't run the same since. So...
I've decided to opt for a GSXR K5 conversion after obtaining a flywheel only.
Could anyone advise/confirm with me about other mods I needed to complete the task.!
The NC alternator fits but I guess a K5 one is req'd as per a GFracing thread.
Also I see by RO's stock list some regulators are not compatable.?
Can some one advise on this.?
Help much appreciated. Thanks.
SteF... :ugeek:

I've been running a 07+ CBR600 regulator for a 1.5 years with no issues. The one I had on there burned out. For installation, I only needed the the GSXR flywheel, stator, and RO's kit.

Thanks JC.
If it ain't cooking in California then it'll no doubt be sound for the UK..!
Is this a race bike mate.?
How do you find it.? Big/Small difference.?
Cheers, SteF.

It's a road bike that see's the track once in a while. There's a big weight difference at just over a kilo. It does tend to bog down easier with the lighter flywheel but I've gotten used to it. As far as performance, it spins up quicker and feels noticeably faster than my other two NCs (stock 30 and stock 35).
