I bought a set of these a while ago for my project bike (CB400 Project big 1) after thinking although they are cheap they are 100% going to be better than my veyr tired 22 year old showa shocks. They have been in the box since as the project was on hold but now I want to fit them. They look like they need some kind of modification to fit as the mounting point doesn't fit through the middle of the bush on the top of the shock. Has anyone on here fitted them to their super four? If so, how did you get them to fit?

hi jacko 11, just had a look at my old set of shocks and the top rubber eye bush is approx 16mm internal and 24mm external diameter. can you not remove the new bush and swap for the original. have just took out a bush on my showa shocks using a socket and pushed it out by hand, quite a snug fit but not bonded. cheers.

I will give that ago...when I remember where I put my showa shocks as I took them off months ago!
Have you got rfy shocks?

not used rfy before have fitted tec brand to my 400sf. a mate has rfy on his cb750 and says they're a good buy.

Hi bill i want to know if i can fit the rear shock with canister on my cb400sf from 96 as well as the brembo brakes ?
