NC30 Riding Position & Wrist Ache

For those that find the NC30 OEM riding position results in painful wrists after a couple of hours, you might find this modification useful.
For me, the standard position of the clip-on bars causes an un-natural kinked wrist postion. The solution was to remove the cast-in locating pins on the slip-ons bars and rotate them back to straighten my wrist position.
I can now ride 400-500ks (5-6 hours), only interrupted by time required for re-fuelling, within loss of feeling in my hands or severe wrist ache.

Not much to photograph, just remove the as cast locating pin (knob) on the top edge of each clip-on and then set them at the position that gives a straight wrist when seated on the bike, in your cruising position. Those that employ the racer crouch at all times will probably consider the OEM clip-on position satisfactory.
With the clip-on position that worked for me there was no problem with the fairing on full lock, although clearance is now tighter.
Initial feel is different and some care may be required particularly when executing tight turns, but for me the benefit to rider comfort is worth it.

I had to remove these following the install of RO's triple clamps, it does make a difference just by adjusting a couple of degrees.

In hindsight it was a silly question

Completely green so still getting to grips with the basics - thank you for your patience!
