Hi Guys,

Really quick question: Are NC30 & NC35 frames the same/identical?

I've got a NC30 engine that I'm planning to do a few track days on and need a frame for it, don't know if both frames will fit?

Many thanks....Cal

No but either engine will fit, i cant remember which but the mounts on one engine need tapping to fit the other frame.

Think VFR Nc30 engines need tapping to fit to a RVF Nc35 frame

Cheers for the feedback guys,

I ideally want a NC30 frame to go with the engine, Starting to kick myself now as I saw a NC30,forks and swingarm go on Ebay a few months back for £75, bloody steal at that price and I knew I should of went for it.

Many thanks....Cal

As has already been said both engine will fit each frame. The 35 Uses an extra bolt on the front cylinder head, but i have run 30 engines in a 35 frame without this extra bolt and never had a problem. I think the build quality of the 30 frame is better than the 35 and as you are able to fit most front forks to the 30 frame now i would stick with that :)
