Don't know if this is common knowledge or is useful to anyone but I've just been informed by Nitron that their shocks for the NC35 and NC30 are identical, even though they have different part numbers. A Nitron shock from an NC30 has just sold on ebay (you may have seen it). I dithered over it because despite contacting the seller and 2 dealers no one could tell me if it would fit my NC35. Finally got confirmation from Nitron that it would but I was too late. Shame.

Fitment is the same but possibly different lengths, dont quote me on the length difference though

I'm looking at a nitron shock at the moment too (from nitron direct), I'm just wondering about peoples experience with the spring rate? Are nitron pretty good at choosing the right spring rate based on my weight? Also is the weight they ask for including gear or without?

Yes, the NC30 and NC35 shocks are identical and interchangeable.

Since most users want a 10mm over stock length shock to jack the back end up, Nitron have now allocated that version (315mm long vs 305mm standard) its own part number.

Just in case you plan to buy one from anyone other than me (but why would you...?) the part numbers are as follows -

NC35 - NTBKH 36
NC30 stock length - NTBKH 33
NC30 + 10mm - NTBKH 55

Add this suffix to the above numbers to denote which model of shock -

E - Street model
S - Sport model
T - Track model
R - Race model

Add another H on the end for hydraulic preload adjustment.

Thus - NTBKH 55TH = NC30 Track shock, 315mm long with Hydraulic preload adjuster.
