NC30 Kill switch rewiring - Is this a bad idea?

Hey

My NC30 racebike is almost back together but my replacement top yoke with ignition barrel is shot. I want to swap out the whole thing with a switch as I don't have a key and was thinking I could just rewiring my kill switch to be the ignition switch. I'll hardwire/remove the current kill switch behaviour and then just hook up the ignition so obviously it'll still work as a kill switch

Is this a bad idea? Thoughts?

Thanks
Luke

Isn't the kill switch pretty crucial in a stack?

Yes, but it'll still work as a kill switch.

The standard kill switch just kills the spark, so you can turn the engine over on the starter but not have it fire. What I intend to do will be the same as if the bike was running and you turned the key off

id still keep a secondary kill swithc somewhere just incase your switch fails, espeically after a crash or something and yo ucant turn the bike off.

I'll add a tether kill switch as well
