Just bought myself a 95 SuperFour and want to give it a service. Did the brakes anf checked the fluids. Bought myself one of those chrome oil filters off ebay and not sure what grade of oil to put in it. Are there specific motorcycle oils? Any help would be appreciated :D

Use 15W 40 synthetic grade oil for the bike. I can't remeber the exact fluid quantity for the bike but I think it is 3.2 litres for an oil change and 3.8 litres for an oil and filter change. There was a website along the lines of
http://www.cb400.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; that had all the fluid levels and specs for the bike but I can't seem to find it. I assume you've done it all before but if not... Dont forget to warm the oil in the bike for a few minutes to make it more fluid for draining, smear fresh oil on the seal of the new filter, torque it to about 12NM and replace the crush washer on the sump plug :D :D

I use Putoline 10W40 Super DX4 semi-synthetic. Around £19 for 4 liters. Quite pleased with it.

Yeah 10W40 semi synth was the closest i could get. Just did the change and started it. Waiting for it to cool down to top it up.
