What kind of mileage are the rvf nc35 owners herring from a full tank (£15 from reserve)?
I'm getting a indicated 110km's which isn't a whole lot!

I just ran mine empty a couple days ago. It literally died 40feet from the pump!

230 freeway km 3.5 gallons, about 65 km a gallon. Average speed was 85mph and no stops.

Just out of interest - how many litres is 3.5 gallons, is that to reserve or empty?

3.5 gallons = 13.2489 litres.

So I'd assume it's to reserve, as it's 15 litre total with 2 litre reserve?

These days I usually get 180-190kms before I hit reserve, but that's with around 120000kms on the bike. When it was 'new' to me, on a third of kms, I used to run to 230-240kms before reserve. The highest figure I've ever managed before filling was 270, and there was still a little left. I've also managed to run completely dry at 190 on one occasion. A lot depends on how pernickety you are when filling the tank up. If you sit on the bike so the fuel is level you can keep squeezing it in for ages as the air bubbles out the tank. That's probably overfilling, but it can make quite a difference to the range. And of course, it also depends on how you ride. Generally, motorway miles will give better economy because there's little acceleration involved, but last year I got rubbish miles a few times when doing lots of m-way miles and better economy blatting round country lanes. Go figure! I generally reckon on about 40mpg (Imperial).

Most I've ever got from an nc30 was 260kms.

my vfrs always get around 250km to a tank of average riding but i noticed one time it went down to like 80km..

there was an old cloth floating in the tank which had blocked the filter pipe pu when the fuel level dropped a bit.. worth checking theres nothing in there..

of course i could only put like 5 or so litres in, if you can fit in 12 litres or so then its really drinking the fuel :)
