Has anyone any suggestions on removing a very tight rear pad retaining pin? I've had to remove the caliper and the pin end is being soaked in plus gas, as I'm on the verge of rounding the Allen key its that tight. As there is limited clearance to get anything on the pin, I'm lost as to whether anyone has overcome this before, any help most appreciated
Thanks

You must use a good quality allen key in the pad pin otherwise you will destroy it.

Ive used an impact driver with good effect on sevearl stuck pad pins and pad pin plugs where owners have not cleaned and anti-sieze compunded them in the past.

Fit and quality of part is good, a well fitting proper made part will get it undone no issuse, poor parts will chew it up and it will need drilling out.

i had to hacksaw into the pin plug slightly just so i could get some grip with a slot screwdriver
