Being in the States, the parts tech at the local Honda shop gives you a daft look when you inquire about the NC29. They show the part number 06435-KT7-415, do not have it in stock, but cannot cross reference to an after market part. What other Honda models used the same rear pads? Thanks, Robert

Yep, they are cross referenced with many models, ebay has many to chose from. I use ferodo for my rear and standard oem for the front, just because thats what was on the bike when I bought it and they work well, so why change?

Fresh brakes, panel tab repair accomplished and tank of 93 octane (best pump gas we can get here in the states). Took her for the first lap of the mountain lake near my home, about 14 miles and nothing but twisties--switch backs, 180's, decreasing radius and lots of elevation change. I felt like Michael Dunlop on the Island

I am accustomed to my '97 VFR. These little 400's give you the impression you are going faster than you really are. Way more fun than the larger bikes. More like my SR500 based cafe racer. Once again, thanks for all the support. Cheers, Robert

Brilliant, glad you like the bike. Yep the racy nature of these bikes can work wonders in your perception of speed and what speed your actually doing.
