Lo-Beam not working

Hi Guys,

At some point today, my low beam stopped working.

I've checked the hi-low beam switch and its clean. Bulbs are standard new. Wiring is fine. Could it be the starter relay thats stuffed?

Haynes said if there's a click when switching to hi beam, then I should check the voltage of the black/red wire?
How do I do that? Its only one black/red wire, I know it sounds stupid, but where do i put the multimeter terminals to check the voltage?

Thanks

To check voltage of a single feed:

Set multimeter to DC 20v.
Red lead (+) to wire for test.
Black lead to a good earth or battery negative terminal.

You use the meter just as you would a test lamp; except it displays the voltage supplied rather than just lighting up .
