No fuel flow from my tank

I took my tank off for an hour and now I'm not getting any gas out of the petcock. I hooked the fuel line back up and kept trying to start it, but got nothing. When I pulled the fuel line again, it was totally dry. I actually have this problem on both my NC30 and NC35. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Hi JC,
This is quite a common problem with the NCs, you have either forgotten to connect the vacuum hose to the petcock (from air inlet port to Cylinder 3) or have connected it to the wrong point on the petcock.
Connect the vacuum hose to the horizontal port on the petcock (not the vertical one) and your problem should be solved.
This is a safety system designed to cut fuel flow when the engine has stopped.
Ben.

Another method to check the tap isnt broke is too connect the vacuum hose to the tank on the outermost nipple? and suck on the pipe.
Have the tank set up so fuel will go into a container!
