Kelvar Clutch replacements over OE.

Hi all,
anybody got any views / experience of kelvar friction plates i have read they are more aggressive on take up anybody got these fitted to there NC if so how do you find it.
I am about to order a set

On the RVF, I found them a bit more grabby at the off, but once rolling noticed no difference at all compared to OE ones, so put the OE back in. Unless your plates are fucked and you absolutely need new ones, I wouldn't bother. Then again, if you absolutely need new ones, buy OE from Dave Silver.
I guess what am saying is, don't. :)

I have burnt my clutch out completly and lost all drive i havent taken it apart yet but i am replacing friction plates and steel plates as the bikes done 42000 miles, ...my thoughts were the kelvar would take more punishment and last longer.

My personal experience is that standard type (OEM or EBC) friction plates are fine for a road bike. The only real advantage of the kevlar plates is they tend to stand up to repeated race starts better than the standard friction material and help get a better launch.

Good so there is nothing negative about the kelver set up only positive as it will give extended life in harsh conditions.
Im getting one anyway it's ordered.
