Rear manifold

while removing my exhaust the other day I snapped the middle bolt on the manifold , what's the best way to remove it ? Can the studs be replaced ?

Is there any stud protruding?
If there is you might be able to thread a nut onto it, then weld it in place and unscrew the whole lot. I did his recently but instead of welding used a metal epoxy:

If it broke off flush with the manifold you might have to drill out the remaining stud then insert a helicoil or similar - or just source another manifold to replace yours.

Got a manifold with all studs here nice and solid yours for £25 posted in the uk

there is a little stud protruding but it looks like someone has played with this manifold b4, it now has bolts that have been weld in on the back
I wouldnt mind to much but purchased a stud extraction kit today

Yea ive got a few kicking around so just let me know.
Give the studs on the head a good soaking in plusgas or similar for a few days and be gentle they will snap causing a lot more gried than a manifold stud!

That was my plan but i cant only get to 3 of the 4 bolts, the 1 cant get on is the OS it seems to be tucked right up behind the manifold.
Do I need to take the engine out or just remove the shock?

You wil need a jointed knuckle socket/extension socket.you dont need to take engine out!!as said soak eerything in plusgas or wd40.
