Hello. can anyone help me with how to go about removing the wheel bearings from my 400sf.
Hoping to give them a powder coat and need to get them out and can see no simple way to go about it.
Any advice welcome thanks.

Use a long drift and hammer and hit them out. New bearings are cheap!

Hi. Thanks for that, thats what i thought till i opened them up and had a look.
Thinking it would be a case of pushing out the sleeve and then knocking them out
from the reverse side. With these wheels there is almost no access and therefore
purcase for the drift to seat on the back of the bearings as the sleeve is more like a spacer
sat inbetween the bearings in the centre of the wheel covering the back of the bearings.
Have you managed to knock bearings out with hammer and drift with bearings covered
like this in these wheels? Just wanting to avoid damaging the spacer if there is another
way to go about it. Cheers.

If you get a strong bar a bit smaller than the spacer you can lever it or hammer it sideways just enough to get at the inner race of one bearing and bash it loose. Once you've moved it a bit the spacer will move across so you can get a the bearings with some real force.
Hope that makes sense.
