Slow Returning to Idle

HI Guys,
I've just fired up my bike for the fist time since an overhaul. I've had the cards ultrasonically cleaned and they're immaculate inside an out. I've got a problem where the bike doesn't seem to want to return to idle after being revved and the revs seem to hang a bit.
(I'll post a video later)
I've confirmed that there are no air leaks also my carb rubbers are new. The bike just doesn't seem to be running quite right. The only thing that remains to be done is balance the carbs. Would this be a potential reason to my symptoms, unbalanced carbs?
Thanks

Unbalanced carbs can cause a bit of that but also if they've been rebuilt check the pilot screws settings, I fine that an extra 1/4 - 1/2 turn out can make for a much crisper response.

Thanks - I'm currently at the 2.25 turns on my pilot screws on all carbs. Running 118/120 jets.
Here's a vid of the sloppy revs:

Just to add I'm running a full Tyga system and have fitted a new air filter.

Mine does the same thing... Interested to know what fixes it - do you go to 2 turns or 2 1/2 turns?

Do you have the stock air box on?

throttle cable sticking, thats what did it to me when i had the carbs off. Check your routing.

Yes, check throttle snaps shut, if not loosen cable lock nut near throttle housing a put more free play into cable.
If carbs well out of balance, then throttle stop needs to be wound in more than normal to achieve correct tick over speed [not running on all 4] which tends to make revs hang on closed throttle.

Yes running stock airbox. I have noticed like suggested that my throttle stop/ idle control is wound in more. I'll also look at my cable routing and report back. I'm thinking of going 120/122 jets but I suppose this won't make much difference to the hanging revs.
Is it still worth turning out my pilot screws another 1/4 turn?
Cheers

Main jets operate from 3/4 to full throttle, pilots from closed [tick over] to between 1/8 and 1/4.
Richening the pilot screws may improve the hanging rev problem but will just be masking the fault.

As arsey said check the throttle snaps shut, ie the bike doesn't need to be running just open the throttle then let go and it should quickly snap closed.
