Howdy,

Changed oil today and the local parts place only had the K&N filter with the nut on the end. Annoyingly, it hits the radiator fan shroud so i had to space the whole lot out a little bit with an extension on the lower mount.



Is this a common thing? or perhaps the lower radiator mount is bent? It clears the fairings and all that when swung foward a little (about 14mm more foward) so just wondering if people have done this before and if there is anything to worry about having done so?

I had the same issue with a K&N oil filter on the wife's RVF. I ground the nut off and all is well!
