Hi guys I am new to this forum so first let me introduce myself I'm Dave an avid biker all my 56 years, and owned everything from rocketship to slug. But my nc23 was bought on a whim for just 400 quid and I love it, Graeme has supplied with me new downpipes, radiator and recently chain and sprockets and is a saint when advice is needed, but I hate bothering him all the the time.
So my reasons for help, I have just bought a spare engine (number 1090393), the idea is to strip and rebuild it and hot swap it for my getting tired engine currently in daily use. So my questions would be to those who have done it, what to look for what to check and what to replace as a matter of course. I wouldn't like to say money is no object, but I wont cut corners either. looking forward to your replies, and if you are reading this Graeme thanks for your help in the past.
