Powdercoating Buckinghamshire
Hi all,
I am in the process of rebuilding my NC30 following a spill in the ice last year
, It caused a very small chip in the front wheel (about a quarter of a penny in size). However I had been thinking about getting the wheels painted black instead of the red they are currently in anyway, as I think black wheels look good with my red/black colour scheme. So my question is this. Does anybody have any experience with a powder coating company around buckinghamshire way? Preferably able to remove the tyres and repair the chip as well.
I have heard that powdercoating is the most durable/best finish for wheels, feel free to offer suggestions if this isn't the case! I am also possibly about to aquire another frame and swingarm with the intention of powdercoating them black as well (Don't worry they are already painted, just badly) possibly to build another NC, but probably just so I can keep my original Aluminium set in case I decide I want to re-fit them. As the NC frame gets a pretty hot whilst running anyway, would a powdercoated black one just fry everything around it, including my legs?
Any help would be appreciated,
Many thanks.
