Building my race bike for this year & i'm nearly finished, however i've read something online and need some help.
I've removed my speedo and the cable & sprocket cover as its for track i dont need it.

However reading up i can assume this may cause some runnning faults.

Is there anything i should do when removing them?

Its a 1989 400RR and has the blue CDI
