Hi, are the front callipers off earlier FZRs the same as the 3tj?
(mine came with Honda callipers and adapter plates)

Re: front brake compatibility
The earlier RD FZ600 or Genesis have similar spacing but they're 2 pot. I should have a pair of calipers somewhere with new seals etc

cheers, I meant the 4 pot ones that pop up on evilbay. They look similar but maybe there mounting centres and left-right spacing is incompatible?

3TJ calipers are different to all the other earlier bikes as far as I know.

Re: front brake compatibility
Yes 3TJ calipers are just 3TJ calipers.
The calipers themselves are pretty good, they need to be clean and the disks need to be ok, but after that it's a pretty good system.

Yep very good calipers, I've got a set of R1 blue spots but haven't bothered using them as the standard ones are so good.
