Single seat conversion for NC30

Post by laminator »

I've been looking at various options for converting my NC30 to a single seat. I never take pillions, but if I have to I can use the MV F3.

I've been looking at this in my favourites for a while.

Anyone have any better options -

RVF style - but as far as I know that would involve altering or replacing the rear subframe. Would like to keep it as an NC30, I may get an RVF in the future.

Seat cowl - not sure I'm a fan of this, does look better imo than the seat, but would prefer a complete unit.

Tyga sell rvf style one piece units to fit the nc30, im sure they sell nc30 styled ones too. Silhouette also sell rvf style one piece units if you wanna be flash, they also do them pre painted in many stock nc30 colours

That one from webike you linked too will need a foam seat pad instead of the stock seat so not the comfiest, rick oliver sells one similar to that one that uses the stock seat pad

Cheers, DM.

Last time I asked for a price for a silhouette single seat unit painted in Black/grey I was quoted £900, as the exchange rate was horrendous at the time. I'll ask again to see if it's come down at all.

I like the sound of the RO one. I'm used to sitting on foam with the Bimotas, but a bit more comfort on the NC30 for doing the miles would be better.

Nice bike. What's the frame badge, is that normal? and I see you have fitted an RC30 brake torque linkage.

Hi, It's the same badge as the rc30 but with vfr400r nc30. It has the full rc30 brake torque bar set up + rc30 rearsets and some other rc30 "trinkets" still think these are one of the best looking bikes ever made (in these colours though) will try to get/ find a close up of badge. cheers
