				Yep;same part.
Get a new gasket too.
Be aware the locating dowels are made from tinfoil.

 if swapping them over.

I think the FZR600R or ThunderCat is a better match for the 3tj. The fzr600 will fit but I think its a more rounded shape

They do turn up regularly as a used item circa £30 bin or from £15 upwards at auction,if you are in no hurry.
Just a bit slow at present due to hols.
Heat the old one placed upside down on a metal plate in a hot oven for about 10 mins and listen for the bearing dropping out if you want to re-use it in a new casing.

thanks evilchicken, when i get new casing through and go to fit will the bearing need to be changed fom the 600 casing?,my casing is so shot to shit looking externally that all i can see is a bolt a collar /spacer on the bolt and obviously a starter gear all of which appear un damaged, does the bolt head sit within the bearing housing when casing in place? or do i have something missing?didn,t see anything except oil and casing parts when i had the prang, any help advice would be much appreciated regards mark.

A picture might help, but it sounds like the bearing has gone with the cover. It sits on the first gear opposite the starter motor
