Hi everyone
Looks like i may have bagged a cheap nc21, with it id like to do a restoration but with 17" wheels
Heres the catch though, i want to do it as a 1986 Rvf400 racer so my question is are the 86 rvf race fairing obtainable from anywhere?
the seat unit looks as though its just a single version of the standard shape seat so that wouldnt rea;y be much of an issue however the main fairing could be tricky

Any supplier suggestions or leads id greatly appreciate it
If i can do this it would make an awesome addition to my collection

Well a bit of internet surfing + it seems that from pictures the 1986/87 rs250 bodywork is the same so looks like i might be on to a winner

Heres what i want to replicate, further looking seems as though an 86 rs250 has the closest seat unit + will need to be trimmed to be right + the fairings looks as though its the same as the 1990 rs250, everything seems to match up



As soon as i get the bike ill start a build thread so the search is now on to find fairing suppliers,proving to be harder than it sounds

Im looking forward to it too, im unsure whether it will have a daylight MOT or track use
If track use it wont be raced but i may be instructing with bemsee next season for the 400's so i may well use it for instructing + my race bike for the actual race weekend

Yes had a look at that site + its just a shame they are stateside, ive found seat units over here but not fairing, sure there will be someone though

I will breathe on engine abit, exhaust system may be tricky to get right for the look + power unless another HRC one pops up, liam + tony have said they have seen them from time to time
