NC30 CARBS ON A VFR750 ENGINE?

Hi,
Will NC30 or NC35 Carbs fit on a 750engine?
From what ive seen they look pretty much the same besides the stacks

I'll stick my neck out and say no as id bet the spacing of the inlets is different, that and i bet the 750 will need more than 32mm carbs

Just found out the 750 throttle bore is 36mm, so its a no, thanks

Not really throttle bore that is the problem, but more like distance between bore centres of the motor - it is wider between the inlets.

I do wonder why more racers dont use 750 carbs on nc30's, you wouldn't think it'd be that difficult to narrow them a bit.

Because 36mm is a tad to big for a 400 I reckon

Maybe an oversized bore would lower the pressure difference at the jets and could cause problems with fuel atomization.
