Hi. What do you guys use to fasten your grips. I don't want to use wire and a can't get hold of grip cement this weekend. epoxy glue or maybe silicone?

Degrease handlebars and grips and then pour rubbing alcohol on the bars and inside of grips and install them before it evaporates. It will be firmly fixed in a few hours time when all the alcohol evaporated.

I'm with the Munky on this one. Hairspary is the way forth. Tried grip glue once and it was a nightmare so went back to (the wife's ;) ) hairspray!

I use a bit (!) of superglue.

I went mental once and had a horrible time trying to get the grips off later. So, don't go crazy with it. Never tried hairspray but have heard very good things about it too

In my formative Trials riding days, we would use any old spray paint laying around. A quick squirt into the new grip and slid it on and half an hour later you could be hanging off them without them EVER moving.

Never tried hairspray, but I guess it is the same in principle.

 because I had clear spray paint I decided to take that route but it started sticking before the grip was on, I started panicking that the grip was going to get stuck before it was in position and it would get damaged. So I removed it and decided the surgical spirit route but it was in my kids room and he was sleeping.... sooooooo..... tequila   worked a treat, grips are nice and solid... Not sure the wife believed I was working on the bike though

Alcohol is the answer.
