Rick Oliver F3 shock linkage

Has anyone actually used the F3 style linkage on their track/race bike, and if so what are their opinions of it? Was it a worthwhile change, and what were the tactile benefits? Was tire wear improved? Better rear edge grip etc?

It seems like a very logical upgrade if you're racing(and allowed to use it), but you basically have to start from scratch with your setup, so I'm wondering if it was worth the hassle in the grand scheme of things.

Some good info and some feedback in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=37826&start=160

I agree, you'd be nearly starting from scratch with your shock setup, but it has its benefits.

Thanks. I've been through that thread before. I was just hoping to get a little more hands on feedback for reference. I may have to just bite the bullet and try it out.
