Snapped off engine post / mount?

Evening gents.

I brought a NC30 cheap to do track days on. It had a cracked frame and bent forks. Ive brought the new forks and frame and just removed my old frame.

Buy the looks of it the crash damage has also ripped the engine mount post off the cylinder head. I didn't know about this and in all honesty it rode fine on the way to the MOT and the past owner had been riding it in this condition for over a year.

I really don't want to buy a new engine for it. Do you think it would be ok to weld it back on?

Or even carry one riding it will it in place but not actually attached to the block.

The engine clearly isn't going to drop out or anything like that with the rest of the 5 mounts all been in good condition so it should be "safe" but is it going to affect the handling?

For the cost of a spare head, I'd just fix it properly!

Balls.

Yeah thats probably the right thing to do.

Is there any technical data out there. I've googled it but nothing's come up.

Are the head bolts stretch bolts or can they be reused.

Will the new head gasket come with all the head torque settings and the order they need to be done up in?

So all i need is a front cylinder head and Head gaskets? Are any other gaskets needed. I don't think ill bother with valve stem seals but I guess I should check valve clearances as well.

I have a spare head that I bought off ebay with some other bits, not sure if it is a front or a rear though, i'll check tonight and let you know if your interested.

Swapping it and making it right is definitely the way to go with this though!

Service manual is in the downloads section, In the appropariate section it tells you what to replace with new after doing the job, I cant remember off hand but if it says replace then I guess it answers your question.

I have an engine and that same mount has been welded and has never been a problem.
