I wonder if any one can help with a little bit of advice, I own a fully restored nc24 and it has only been back on the road since September 1st after 10 years in a barn! The trouble is the SECOND set of fork seals has just leaked oil over my bike again!
Can anyone advise me what the F##k is going on?
These were fitted by a motorbike mechanic ( both times)
The first time I put 11psi in the forks ( I am 5'7 and only weigh 73kgs)
The second time I only put 7psi in
The forks are in good nick, no pitting,scores etc

Your not using genuine Honda seals I take it? Copy ones wont hold any air at all.. many people dont use at all in the front forks, it doesnt make a great deal of difference.

73kg is quite heavy I thought compared to what the bikes probably set up for. the NC24 is a Japanese only bike, most Japanese people in the 80s were around 55kg as a rough guess. They are really undersprung for anyone over 60kg.

If the forks are stock then id recommend some maxton springs up front to stiffen them up a bit and forget about the air.
