As title says :( lack of funds to finish and having a few problems with where we live so having to move house and need the money :( i am gutted as this bike will be mint once its done. So wanting advice on what its worth.

If any of you have been following my rebuild thread you will know how much work i have put into it.
viewtopic.php?f=69&t=37248

Have spent a lot of money on it getting it to the stage its at. I would say it's about 90% complete, fairings which i have repaired need spraying (i have all the paint and lacquer, primer etc), needs mudguard mounts, battery and mirrors, off top of my head that's all that's left, engine casings are still scuffed so will need respraying, brakes need bleeding (didn't want to do this until it's ready for mot so that they don't seize)
All electrics work as they should, bike runs absolutely spot on idle's perfect and revs very clean.

Here is a list of what's been done
Powder coated wheels (super gloss black)
New piston rings
New head gasket
New sump, clutch cover and stator gaskets
Cylinders re honed
All engine internals cleaned
All new engine bearings
Valves re seated
Valve clearances checked and adjusted
Pistons cleaned
New exhaust studs
New exhaust gaskets
Refurbished forks (nc23 with nc29 internals and preload adjusters)
Refurbished rear shock
New wheel bearings front and rear
Calipers rebuilt with new piston seals
New brake pads
New rear master cylinder
Original fairings
New screen
New reg/rec
New fuel pump
Carbs cleaned and rebuilt
New spark plugs (iridium)
Resprayed sub frame
Exhaust down pipes cleaned and sprayed in VHT black
Original indicators
Good discs (no lip)
Tires got plenty of life
Side stand cleaned and sprayed black
Rear sets cleaned
Rad fan rebuilt
Clock bracket cleaned and sprayed silver
New air filter
Full service after engine rebuild (0 miles on the rebuilt engine)
Also i have some of the oem decals to replace the ones i had to take off for fairing repairs.

Bike has 17,000km, have checked on dvla mot checker and all tallies up so is correct mileage.
Comes with import documents.
Original keys so 2 of the same key 1 key does ignition, petrol tank and seat lock.

If i dont get enough for it then im going to have to store it some where until i can afford to finish it and when i get the time.

Well I spose the question is how much is it worth to you? As with all things like this you never intended to sell so my betting is you've spent more on it than its worth to someone else.

A mate of mine bought a unfinished 29 a couple of years for a grand and I thought that was rich tbh, and what had been done to it had been done to a very high standard.

For what you've put in , you'll never get enough back, itll be better to store untill you have some more cash to finish and sell as a complete bike with an mot ! 8-)

Mate I followed your rebuild thread & it inspired me to start my rebuild. Gutted you have to sell it unfinished! Here in NZ your bike in its current condition would go for 2 grand.....roughly 1000 pounds.

If you could moth-ball it somewhere & finish it another day that'd be better!!!

Sorry bud i just didn't have the funds to finish it or the time, with moving house and trying to start my business up at the same time it was a bit hard to get anything done on it, and i desperately needed a car so needs must im afraid :(
Bit gutted about it but i will have more projects when i get back on my feet again.

Plus now that i have a car it gives me chance to take the nc23 off the road and fully restore that, when i have the money but dont worry the nc23 wont end up being sold half way through lol i will never get rid of that bike

you'd get more for the parts than sell the job lot.
