Flywheel puller tool

Hi guys,

I'm struggling to get the flywheel off my V4 (NC24) engine. I know it's an M20x1.5mm R thread but I don't want to buy a £50 puller set just for single use, does anyone have the correct tool that they would be willing to post out for bear money/deposit as it's the main thing holding up my build at the minute.

Or other advice on how to get it off would be great.

Cheers,

Sam

Beer money, I'm not sure this favour is worth bear money, or even bare money...

Give Uncle Rick a call and he'll sort you out in a jiffy!
If the NC24 is the same as the 30 & 35, the rotor puller (bolt) he's got should work just fine. For the £5 it costs, it's got to be a good option to get it sorted quickly.

Its a bolt... not a puller. thats all

there around a pound from any decent fastner shop.

like this.

undo the 14mm bolt in the middle and screw this into the hole thats uncovered.. it will press against the shaft and pop the flywheel off.

a puller will scratch and take dings out the flywheel

A windy gun makes this a thousand times easier, i tried with a socket arm as i was being lazy and couldn't be bothered to push the bike to another shed with the compressor and windy gun in.

I soon gave it up as a bad job and pushed it to the other shed, took less than 30seconds with the windy gun.
