hi all

bike was fine no problems , then was layed up for 8 years .
ive checked plugs they like new, tank and carbs were drained when layed up
carbs have been removed and cleaned inc all jets and fresh fuel added, new rubbers
fittrd,checked coils and HT keads all ok all pipes replaced correctly and finaly fired her up
now itll tick over and run but when on the road wont rev past 10k ive also checked that throttle is working
and cleaned and checked fuel tap all ok.
it feels like a lack of fuel but any help will be much appreciated.

Maybe fuel filter blocking? High RPM= higher fuel pressure? Corrosion inside the tank is likely to cause this.

Check all choke plungers/linkage are working, not sticking.
Check vacuum hose for leaks/perished.

Sorry bike is nc30, fuel filter is clean I'm changing vacuum pipe and choke is fine.
Bike runs sweet till on road I've owned it 17 years and its never faulted till now

How are you getting on have you fixed it ?
