There is some seriously over priced shit out there.
As Paul has put in another thread - UK bikes are only worth a premium if they are complete - warranty card, booklet and all that jazz.
The 2k brigade for bikes with chinese bodywork, scabby bits and bobs etc..lol
Makes my bike worth fecking shedloads..but I know it is not..as it looks rough!

Wow, a new thread with strong views but not worthy of chipping in with an idea of value of mine

There does appear to be plenty of UK bikes coming up pretty surprising thought most were sold by honda as racebikes ? in 91/92 that kinda money new got you a cbr1000fl or a vfr750 cbr600 for less then makes you wonder how many have been ragged on track then the originalparts speedo panels mirrors etc put back on and sold on as mint road bikes later.
Yes a unmolested UK bike with everything intact is going to carry a premium over an import but with the way the classic bike scene is heading with other bikes people don't seem fussed wether a bike is UK model or from Europe or the states. Looking stock or fitted with period exhausts upgrades etc doesn't seem so important as the number of bikes decrease through the years.
