TYGA Full Exhaust System Questions!?

Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting a TYGA full exhaust system in the future, wanting to get this one:
Image

Just a few questions about them:
1) Best place to get one?
2) Are they good quality?
3) Do they fit the bike correctly? (ie. things all line up)
4) Can you still use the side stand with them?
5) Will the bike run right with the carbs on a normal set up, or would it run like a bag of shit?
6) Will they pass an MOT, or can you get DB killers for them?

If anyone could answer these for us, I would be very grateful!

Regards.....Cal

1 - Jap4performance or tyga direct
6- it is discretionary

They are nice, but if I was looking to spend full price on one - I would not bother. the only main benefit is that they are a proper full system and removing the rear stubby does make a difference.

I have one...it was a good deal..

I've got that exact system but picked it up second hand off here. I've fitted a universal dB killer and have no problem with MOTs. The side stand still works fine and you just need to be careful lining it all up to get a good fit, bit fiddly but worth the effort. It sounds fantastic and gave a healthy gain over stock with a bit of set up time. Well worth the dyno time in my opinion to get the fueling right as I'm not a expert on carbs set up, although I am learning.

I also have the same:

1) Best place to get one? - Tyga direct or Jap4performance
2) Are they good quality? - Very
3) Do they fit the bike correctly? (ie. things all line up) - Yes, took me 30-60 mins to fit. OEM exhaust removal is the worst part.
4) Can you still use the side stand with them? - Yes
5) Will the bike run right with the carbs on a normal set up, or would it run like a bag of shit? - Ideally upjet to 118 / 120 if running standard at the moment and you have a jap spec NC30.
6) Will they pass an MOT, or can you get DB killers for them? - Discretionary but I passed 3 MOTs in 3 different places.

Had a bike with that system fitted top quality bit of kit well made and appeared to make that particular nc30 feel more perky than other 30s I've ridden . Jap4 used to give a discount to the forum members might be worth contacting gavin on here :?:

They did sell a baffle for that can which did make it tad less noisier but it was never ott to begin with imo
Don't get the maggot can unless you want bleeding ears and tinnitus

Cheers Dave,

I'll look The jap4performance then!

And yeah seen those little maggots, they seem to be ear piercing load lol, don't really fancy my NC sounding like the current RC213V machine!
