i had bought mirrors off ebay for my nc30 at the start of the summer,from japan....cant remember the seller but they were great,worked a treat up until my bike fell over one night.

so i went on ebay to buy another pair and once again i got them from japan...a different seller this time and they are useless unless i put them on the opposite side.when fitted the right way round and adjusted to the highest position all i can see with the right mirror is the area maybe 4 feet to the right of my foot,and its the same story for the left mirror.

if i fit them the other way round which is clearly the wrong way as it looks silly as hell the mirrors work perfect...........

anyone else had this experience with mirrors bought off ebay from japan?????im a little annoyed especially as the first ones from japan were perfect.......
i suppose they still do what they are meant to do...... :D

I don't necessarily think that it's dto do with buying from Japan, it's to do with buying from the seller!

You sure they're from Japan? Usually eBay stuff comes out of Hong Kong or China. There's a big difference in quality IMO.

iv got a pair i bought from china and the quality of the black finish was crap so i never fitted them, you can have them if you want for £5 + postage

my mistake,they are from china.the problem is not really whether they are form china or a problem with the seller.
im wondering if anyone else has bought these mirrors and experienced the same problems.
but dont be put off,the first pair i purchased from hong kong were minted,good quality and worked a treat.just a shame the bike decided to keel over.
on the other hand,the second pair for whatever reason are utterly useless unless fitted the wrong way round!!!!!
