Will do. By the way what kind of a lubricant should I use for the throttle tube? It doesn't always return by itself.

if it isnt returning, shouldnt that mean the cables might need adjusting rather than tubing lubricated?

I've always used chain lube on cables, you can get cable oilers from ebay tho I've never tried one.

Works fine (only fitted the the pull cable in the first notch), it could be a few mm-s longer. I used grease in the cable housing and chain lube on the handlebar. My handlebar was rusty and the old throttle tube was missing a piece at the end probably that's the reason it wouldn't return.
How do you install new grips? They won't go on and I don't want to use lube cause it will slip.

Hairspray I don't have, doesn't petrol degrade the rubber, how about isopropyl-alcohol?

Unexperienced question, doesn't a quick action throttle make it more tricky to control the throttle / grip when u are riding on the edge?

Probably, but then there are trade-offs to everything plus my motor only makes 49hp so there's not much of an edge.
