NC 30 Starting issue

Hey World

I'm having a problem with my NC 30. has been standing for about three months now and is battling to start. I have charged the battery up fully, replaced the fuel and spark plugs, cleaned out the tank. Checked vac pipe to carb and am geting a vac. fuel tap is fine as well. But here is what happens:

First up, I tried starting with choke fully up and she would just swing and swing until the battery went flat. Anyway, i brought down my car battery, connected it up in parallel and tried ticking it over with full throttle. She took, but as I had throttle full open she would not rev up. Staying below 1Krpm. tapped off the throttle and she died. Tried swinging again and she wanted to take, but didn't. I primed the carbs with about 1/4 capful (about a teaspoon) full of fuel closed up airbox and swung again. This time she took and could rev up as normal. vroom vroom. left throttle to see if she would idle and she cut out. Swung again and same result as first time she took. Any ideas peeps.

I have checked the slides in the carbs and they are all free, couldnt really see if the was any fuel leaks cos everything was bone dry. vac pipe has no leaks and is not cracked (new), spark on all 4 plugs.

stomped at the moment

Thanx in advance   8-)

Hey, Yeah Vac pipe is on ryt spiggot. will check drains to see if floats are working as they should. Might be worth my while doing a full carb clean as per cammo as wel. will check drain, give it a swing and failing which, I will pull out carbs and clean up weekend.
