Fork Seals.

Hey.
I'm going to be changing the fork seals on my bike. I've seen these on eBay and wondered if anyone has used them. They seem pretty cheap compared to the prices on DSS etc.

I've seen Pyramid seals as well. I've used Pyramid parts before and they seem alright. Just wondered if anyone has experience of them on a NC30 as well.
Is there any particular oil to get as well? I know its a 10W fork oil I'm after.
Thanks, Phil.

Phill use the OEM one's,

The ones on ebay are genuine?
The only difference with the HRC ones is they have one lip instead of two so less friction on the fork slider, had them fitted, no problems to report.

There is no difference in the Honda or HRC oil seal they are the same part.
The HRC come without dust seal that is not used in race set up, and can be removed and reused on the road bikes.

The HRC version also comes with a big sticker saying they are used at your own risk, which is the one you can see on the back of the bags on the ones in the auction. This has been discussed before and the conclusion was that it was because Honda didn't want to spend the money on having them type approved for the road. I've got a pair, but not used them yet. It seems genuine dust seals are now hard or impossible to find.

Eh? I buy them all the time.
You can buy them from Lings 51490-MN8-305 20 quid next day delivery (includes the dust seal)
I only paid that much for both though.

Fair enough. It's just every time I check DSS or eBay, there are geniune oil seals aplenty, but only ever aftermarket dust seals! I must broaden my horizons.... lol
