£36 though, but could be a hassle free (ish) way to derestrict the FZR's.

				£36 is a cheap and easy mechanical way to get around a frustrating electronic problem!

				It still looks the same as the old ones I wonder if they're made from the same place and available wholesale, might be an earner for you Kayla

I'd thought of that but I can'd find a wholesaler

 and I'd punt them out for a little over trade too- spread the love!

				hello people

read a lot about this over the last couple years, and opinion seems to be devided,
so,
Q does the converter (KPH to MPH) read on the KPH background as MPH, or do you still need the MPH sticker on the clock front,
also i have read that the sweep of the needle aint quite right

I have either gold or blue units on 6 bikes;
The converter is a reduction gear for the cable.
The clocks stay the same but instead of the speed shown on the dial being a kph figure it is a mph speed.
No converter decal is required but a small mph sticker should be placed somewhere to indicate imperial rather than metric measurement,personally I dont bother.
The sweep of the needle is less on the dial which some don't appreciate.
The restriction is not overidden ;it is simply never reached.
£35 is a good price new for gold units;some retailers sell the more common and easily available blue units for that.
Blue for clocks end;Gold for drive end depending on cable type (Honda) or space to fit converter unit.(You cannot fit a blue to a 3He or 3en1 with the horrible binnacles-there is no room.) dont mix them up and reverse them as some soul did and then stated the blue didnt work.
Top marks to Boris for sourcing these..

				Mmmmmm;
I wonder if thats just a generic pic then;
Description states "fits at either speedo or drive end" which is incorrect
The price is about the rate for the blue ones.
Go on; someone order one and tell us what arrives,you know you want to!
