Righty-o, got my mate in vfr400's now and just been to have a look at the project / winter hack he's brought.

It has no brake calipers on there at the moment as the previous owner said he removed them when they were sized and couldn't find them.

I've found two different sorts of NC30 caliper, a black set and a gold set on ebay.

are there any differences? Can't seem to find anything on google *shrug* dunno which one to tell him to buy.

Only thing I found was in CRM's Jap / UK differences which said HIS uk bike had black calipers and the Jap bike had gold, no idea if any were better / worse / diff fitting though.

The bikes an L reg 1994

Any helps appreciated!

the gold ones look like the ones on my bike but with gold paint

the black ones remind me of ones off an rvf? or am i way off the mark?

The black on on thel eft in the top pic is an RVF caliper and will not fit the VFR.

The two black and gold, rounded pot versions, are the smae.

Rick will sort you out..he is good like that :geek:

Plus i think you will find that the gold ones started off black and have been painted.

I think the gold ones are from the earlier models of the NC30 - I had some on my g-reg bike (1989)

The round black ones are from later spec bikes but are essentially the same. ( I have a pair for sale if anyone is interested ;) )
