Hi All,

Does anyone have an NC24 (hydraulic clutch type) and an NC30 sprocket cover they coudl compare for me please?
I just want to see if the hydraulic 24 cover will be a direct fit for the standard NC30 one?

I also believe that the NC21 had a hydraulic clutch??

Cheers

It's only the NC21 that has a hydraulic clutch.

The sprocket cover is a direct fit but if you do that you will loose the speedo drive.

NC2x is driven from the wheel not the sprocket like the nc30.

You can cut and weld the two together and fashion something that should work.

Not sure about the pushrod though, you need the NC21 pushrod to make it work on an NC24, the NC30 clutch is different so not sure what length rod you would need.

Hi Neo,
I had a chat with Mo, he has done the conversion on his race bike.
He did a write up on it and it's pretty straight forward (Always is once someone else has done the figuring out how it fits together). I have the parts needed for the engine side, just have to get the master cylinder and feed pipe.
I'll get some pics and add them to Mo's thread, although Mo's explanations is very good already - but pics are always very useful :)

I see.

You don't have to use an NC21 master cylinder, it dosen't match the brake lever for a start.

This is the SP1 master cydliner, it has a nice remote res like the NC21. I think the piston is the same size but worth to check.

Also for the hose, I don't recommend the proper NC21 hose, the rubber will be well past its best and most of it is steel pipe which is bent to fit the NC2x frame.

I was using a goodrich line with mine, much much easier to route.

Hope that helps

i will find out that thread and sticky it

Thanks Neo - Top man.
That lever and res - looks nice and neat, i was looking at the VFR800 one, but it's a bit bulkier.

Yes

Go with a SP1 / Firestorm type setup and it looks the part ;)
