Hi all, have a fork seal leaking on the right hand fork leg on my nc24.
I have taken the fork off the bike and have tried to loosen the allen bolt on the bottom of the fork but it appears that someone has had a go at it before and rounded it off.......any idea`s on how to get the bolt out..Many thanks..Steve

Hi you could try a stud extractor socket of the correct size which may fit on the allen bolt head enough to undo it. It looks like a socket full of sliding pins best not buy but borrow if you can in case it dose not work.

did drill it in the end, drilled half way down the bolt head and then hammered a torx bit into the remainder and out it came  all I have to do now is get another bolt.....are they fairly easy to source? the threads look quite fine...

Yes very easy, they are a standard pitch and thread, even if it is fine itll be a common bolt.

I cant remember if the pitch is normal or fine but the part number is

90116ml0004

you can order the genuine part from david silvers for 2.56

its already been discontiniued so they dont make it anymore but there are plenty in stock if you need one.
