Indicator question

Hello all,
None of my indicators are working. With none of them connected, should I hear the relay or see the turn light on the clocks when I operate the switch?
Does this just mean the flasher relay is duff?

Sounds simple, but have you checked the fuse?

Fuse checked and ok. I'm thinking it may be the relay.

It is not clear from your post what happens when the indicators are connected, do they flash. I believe you need the indicators connected to make the flasher relay operate, no indicators = no click.

Without something connected you wont get anything from the relay or the lamp on the instruments.

When the indicators are connected the outcome is the same. No flash or click from the relay.

You should measure 12 volts between the black/red and green wires at the flasher relay with the ignition switch ON. No 12 volts means a wiring issue between the fuse box and the relay.
With the ignition turned OFF and all the indicator connected, turn the handlebar turn indicator switch in either the left or right positions. Measure the resistance between chassis and the grey wire at the flasher relay. You should measure 3-4 ohms, if not then you have a wiring problem between the flasher relay and the handlebar switch.

Still confused with this little problem. I'm getting 12 volts at the flasher relay. I'm only getting 7.6v on the grey wire coming back out of the relay. This then gives me only 7.6v at each indicator.
I'm guessing the relay is faulty. This is with all indicators connected.
