Nc30 - SV650 clipons
Heyup folks,
I've been trying to find some raised clip-ons for me nc30, but I after a lot of searching i'm trying sv650 clip-ons, there 41mm and pretty much bolt straight on, I've only tried on the left one so far (I only bought one to see it they'd fit). Only problem so far is lack of fixing for the bar end weights, but should be easy enough to sort. Clearance will be tight I think, but should be a small gap!!!
Heres a quick pic of the difference,

Will post up when other one arrives and I test fit both.
Cheers
Ian

Nice one, I'm in the market for some bars that have a slight rise over the standard 30 bars, these could fit the bill on the cheap.
I'll be interested to see what angle the bar sits on and if the sv clamp 'spigot' sits nicely in gap of the nc top yoke.

Got them both on now, the spigots sit under the top yoke in webing against its back edge. I'll try and take some pics tomorow so you can have a look. So far on a quick test build they fit ok, all cables and brake pipes are fine, and it makes a surprising amount of differance. They are mega close to the fairing on full lock but nothings hitting anything so i recon there good and a cheap ish way of raising the bars a bit. Another plus is that there alli so way less than the original ones!!

Heres a quick pic of the sv clipons. They dont hit anything on full lock, its close but ok and the cables aernt too tight either so hopefully it'll help me back a little bit.

Good outcome, I'm on the lookout for a pair.
If you put the forks back to flush with the yokes it will take some more weight off your wrists also making the ride more comfortable.

RVF cables are slightly longer so if you feel the cables are on the tight side you could try those

Hey there,
Misses has asked me if her bars can be rissen so this seems a good shout,
Are they a straight swap ? Everything fits across without any issues?
Also any particular years of SV clipons ?

Hi, yeah they just swap over, tho you'll have to cut the locating pins off the switchgear or drill the bars for them but mine didn't have them on anyway. I cant remember what year they are sorry, i'll have a look if I get chance and find out.

Trying this on the 29 ATM!
Is it standard on the 30 for the throttle cables to run below the brake lever? As they are above on the 29 and I may have to modd the fairing a little.
